As many of
you have seen on the news the Center for Disease Control and the
Lake County Health Department continue to have concerns dealing
with the presence of H1N1 swine influenza across the country and
our county. The District’s Health Offices are bound by the
guidelines and precautions of these two governing agencies.
Please be assured that The District’s Health Offices will
continue to follow the guidelines and precautions of the Center
of Disease Control and the Lake County Health Department
concerning monitoring of the virus, school attendance and if
necessary school closures.
The District Health Offices will continue to monitor this
situation. As current information becomes available it will be
posted on the District’s web site. As always thank you for
consideration and cooperation concerning this matter.
If you have any
questions or concerns please contact your child's school nurse.
