Remarque had a very interesting life before, during and after World War I. His life influenced many others, but at the same time he was influenced by many others. He was a very well known and well respected person in our world.

 

"All Quiet On The Western Front" Synopsis

 

Remarque's most famous novel, All Quiet On The Western Front is known to be "unquestionably the best story of the World War." It addressed the situations of war including problems and consequences. Following the life of a German soldier during the Great War, "All Quiet On The Western Front" changed how a generation thought forever.

 

Other Works

 

Remarque wrote many other books in his lifetime, and most of them were focused on World War I. Erich also wrote about life after the war, and he even wrote a play!
