Many
extracurricular activities are offered to students
throughout the year. These activities are designed to
stimulate interest, broaden horizons, develop healthy
self-images and improve peer relations.
At the
elementary level, students may participate in intramural
sports and beginning band and orchestra. Programs for middle
school and senior high students include inter-scholastic
athletics, intramural activities, band, orchestra, chorus,
drama, student clubs and other special interest activities.
In
addition to the many school-sponsored activities, the Parent
Teacher Organizations provide hands-on enrichment classes
for elementary students in the "After 3" programs that are
offered several times each year.
