Who qualifies?
  • The previous state guidelines recommended the top 5% of students in a district receive gifted services.
  • District 95’s elementary programs strive to be more inclusive. Approximately 10% of students in the elementary schools receive replacement math services.

Replacement Math Screening Time Line
  • MAP Testing
    • April 16 - May 8
  • Problem Solving
    • May (during push-in services)
  • Students at the 95th percentile or higher in math on the spring MAP test will receive an invitation by mail to take the CogAT.
    • Mid May
  • CogAT Testing
    • Saturdays - May 19 OR June 2
  • Parent Notification by mail
    • Late summer
