Adult Novels

Although my favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, I have really been into the Twilight series!  I LOVE it and can't wait for the New Moon movie to come out.  One thing I really love to do is read books that become movies.  Right now, I am reading The Time Traveler's Wife and will see the movie soon!

In Class

In class we are reading Bear Named Trouble.  It is a cute animal tale about a bear that tries to sneak into the zoo.

Mr. Kunkel

Mr. Kunkel's favorite author is J.R. Tolkein, who wrote the Lord of the Rings series.  Mr. Kunkel is currently reading the third book in the series, Return of the King. 

Because Mr. Kunkel does not get a lot of free time to read for pleasure, he also squeezes magazines into his day when he has a few minutes.  Some of his favorites are Sports Illustrated, National Geographic, and TIME.

Latham

Although Latham can't quite read on his own yet, he has been working on a program called 'Your Baby Can Read' for almost a year now.  There are some words he can identify by just looking at the letters!

This is Latham's first trip to the library...he really loved the train puzzle! 

In the meantime, Latham really enjoys being read to daily.  Right now, he's really into trains, boats, bugs and sharks.  Some of his favorite books are...

Okay, so she's only a few months old, but she LOVES to be read to.  Her and Latham get 2 books read to them before they go to bed every night and she already smiles and laughs when we read to her.  I'll get some pictures posted soon!
