This is a picture of me and my kiddos.  Olivia is 3 months old, and Latham just turned 3. Along with my husband and dog, we live in Cary.  We moved here 4 years ago after living in the city for several years.  Though Chicago has a lot to offer, we came to find out that we just were not 'city people' and wanted to start our family in a smaller setting.  While in Chicago, I taught for five years on the West side at John Hay Community Academy.  There, I taught fourth grade, and even did a fourth/fifth split my last year.  Two years ago, I began my first year in Lake Zurich School District at Seth Paine School in fifth grade.  From there, I taught third grade at Spencer Loomis and I am now excited to be here at Isaac Fox. I can already tell what a great school I am at by all of the support from family, staff and students I have received.

I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  I have endorsements in Mathematics, Language Arts, and Social Sciences.  I feel very fortunate to be able to work as a teacher.  I love working with children and am very passionate about making students go above and beyond what they never thought they could accomplish.

In my spare time, I love hanging out with my family and friends.   We enjoy visiting the zoo, as we are animal lovers at heart.  We also love spending time outdoors, going to see movies, and catching a game on the South Side...Go White Sox!  I also love to read, cook, paint (watercolors), and take pictures of everyone around me.
