The exploding quantities of information available to students is astounding. Today's students need the ability to retrieve and interpret information and must begin in the elementary grades to master the skills and technologies necessary for future success. This is the philosophy upon which the information literacy program at Isaac Fox is based.
Skills and Techniques
The skills and techniques contained in the comprehensive curriculum, K-5, serve to:

teach skills that promote lifelong learning |

Promote critical thinking by providing students with the skills to locate, analyze, evaluate, interpret and communicate information and ideas |

instill a love of reading and an appreciation of literature and |

be an integral part of the school, supporting and enhancing the classroom curricula. |
