Fourteen Lake Zurich FBLA students participated in the Northern Illinois State competition, 12 of which placed in the top ten of their category. The members recognized in the top ten are:

• Amanda Beck - 7th in Business Math
• Brandon Djonlich - 6th in Accounting II
• Mike LaPlume - 6th in Intro to Business Communications
• Laura Pettengill, Lindsey Kurek, and Mike Pettengill - 2nd in the Entrepreneurship team event
• Steven Dolinajec - 2nd in Word Processing II
• Kathy Wu - 2nd in Business Procedures
• Marcel Kuper - 1st in Technology Concepts
• Michael Salte - 1st in Java Programming
