Student Council is Lake Zurich High School's student government organization. We are in charge of planning and executing all of the major spirit weeks during the school year along with many of the other major activities of the student body. This list includes:

Homecoming Week: Hallway Decorating, Girls Football Game, The Homecoming Show, Pre-Game Party, The Homecoming Parade, and the pre-game festivities.

Charity Week: Cafeteria Decorating, Student Auction, Winter Charity Ball

Turnabout Week: School decorating, Talent Show, Turnabout Dance

Recognition Week: Battle of the Bands, Student Recognition Awards

Also, all assemblies (one per month), blood drives, freshman orientation.

Student Council meets once a week, non-members may attend meetings if they check with Mr. Bennett in room B109 before attending. Applications to join Student Council are offered in October every year, shortly after Homecoming. To join, students must apply and go through an interview process.
