From birth to death, the law touches each of us and defines our legal rights and obligations. The relevance of business law is the principal reason for this course. From the study of business law you will gain a genuine respect and an intelligent appreciation for the law that affects you at home and work. We will cover the three main aspects of business law, the personal, the vocational and the societal. This course will help you to understand how to protect your personal rights and constitutional freedoms from individual infringement on them.

The semester grade will be an accumulation of points earned during the separate units. This will be from quizzes, exams, chapter assignments, classroom group work and individual projects. This total of points will be put into a corresponding letter grade. This is 90% of your semester grade. The Final Exam will be worth 10% of your semester grade.
