Grading
Lake Zurich High School has a standard grading scale to be used by all departments. The quarter grades will be comprised of daily drawings that are done in class. The daily drawings will be done so that students will understand the various concepts introduced in class. Each drawing will have a 100 point value. The number of drawings that will be counted during a quarter will be the average number completed the entire class. Those not meeting this average will receive a zero (0) for each drawing under the average. Students will be given their grade on a weekly basis, so that they will know where they stand in the class.

100 - 90 = A 1st Quarter grade 40%
89 - 80 = B 2nd Quarter grade 40%
79 - 70 = C Final Exam grade 20%
69 - 60 = D
59 - 0 = F
