Classroom Policies
1. Be inside the classroom door when the bell rings.
Failure to do so will require a tardy. Four in a quarter will get you a 2 hour
detention. After 4 the penalty is 4 hr. detentions per tardy.
2. Keep talking to a minimum, if necessary, you may talk quietly. Students are not to
be working together. Asking questions is O.K.
3. Students are to be working on their own computer.
4. There will be no drinks or food allowed at the computer tables.
5. Work from other classes will not be undertaken during our class.
6. There will be no headphones, CD players, or MP3 players used in the drafting room.
7. You have the right to use AutoCAD in this class and nothing else. You may not be
playing games, cards, or opening other software without permission.
8. If you damage a computer, mouse, keyboard, or monitor you will be charged for the
damage. If the damage is serious you may be removed from the class.
9. No marking on desk tops or tables.
10. Students will not copy or attempt to turn in another student’s work. This is cheating
and is covered under “academic dishonesty” on our website. Students providing
the help to cheat will also be punished.
