CLASS POLICIES

 

  1. School policy will be followed. Please be familiar with the Student Handbook.

 

  1. It is your responsibility to see me concerning work missed during an absence.

 

  1. All written assignments must be typed or word processed (double-space please).

 

  1. Points are assigned for all tests, quizzes, and homework.

 

  1. Late work is NOT accepted for any assignment.  If you are absent on the day a major written essay, project, or research paper is due (one that you have known about for five days or more), you must send or fax the assignment.

 

  1. I will keep all of your papers and return them to you prior to each semester’s exam.  These papers could help you prepare for the exam.

 

  1. If caught cheating, a zero will be given for the assignment, your parent or guardian will be notified, and the Discipline Office will be informed.  For the second offense, the same procedure will be followed with a recommendation to the Discipline Office for the student to be dropped from the class.

 

  1. IPods cannot be used in class. If found, they will be taken to the Discipline Office.

This system does not use rounding, (i.e. a grade of 89.9% would not be rounded up to a 90% and therefore the grade is a B+).
