The Library Media Center is now equipped
with thin client computers!
This allows you to
navigate the computer's functions as well as the internet at much faster
speeds. However, there is now one more step to logging into the
computers. After you enter your username and password, a second box
will pop up. In this, you will have to type your workstation.
The workstations are all labeled at the top of the monitors. So for
instance, if you are sitting at the computer labeled "Library6", you must
type "Library6" into the popup box before you'll be allowed to login.
Because they are
new, however, technical problems can occasionally occur. In order to
keep yourself unaffected by any sudden technological changes or
difficulties, SAVE YOUR WORK! Saving your work
frequently will keep your progress from being lost should any unforeseen
situation with the computers arise.
