We're open!

Please see the General Information page for a quick reminder in how to visit the Library Media Center and what is expected of you when you do.

The Library Media Center is now equipped with thin client computers!

This allows you to navigate the computer's functions as well as the internet at much faster speeds.  However, there is now one more step to logging into the computers.  After you enter your username and password, a second box will pop up.  In this, you will have to type your workstation.  The workstations are all labeled at the top of the monitors.  So for instance, if you are sitting at the computer labeled "Library6", you must type "Library6" into the popup box before you'll be allowed to login.

Because they are new, however, technical problems can occasionally occur.  In order to keep yourself unaffected by any sudden technological changes or difficulties, SAVE YOUR WORK!  Saving your work frequently will keep your progress from being lost should any unforeseen situation with the computers arise.

Welcome to the LMC!

Here at the Wesner Library Media Center, it is our desire to support and extend the curriculum as well as offer materials to enable students to develop individual interests. Students, whether you’re looking for a quiet place to study for an upcoming test, need to look up something for a class, want to use the internet to research one of your interests more deeply, or simply to curl up with a good book to read, come on in.   This is a great place for you to extend your academic work, as well as pursue your personal interests and hobbies using our facilities here at the library.

Teachers, we want you to know that you will find a variety of resources here to support your classroom activities.  Staff members are always welcome to bring students in to explore what the library has to offer, or simply have a look around yourselves.  We will be glad to help you use the library to enhance whatever lessons and projects you have planned and to work with your students on their research and information literacy skills.

Below are links to our library catalog, online database subscriptions, and other helpful sources of information that can be accessed online from school or home. All databases are accessible remotely. Ask Ms. Bosslet or Mrs. Scarbeck for a password and user ID.
