Library Aides Wanted!

Please see Ms. Bosslet or Mrs. Scarbeck if you are interested in gaining some course credit by helping out in the library during your study hall.

Printing in Color

Color  prints no longer print out in the library storage room.  Now, all color prints are spooled to a printer in the Writing Center where they can be retrieved for $.50 a page.  See the Facilities page for more information.

New to the Library

Over the summer, the library has gotten a number of new book titles for student reading.  New titles will be displayed on the front desk.  Also, we now have a section of graphic novels, located on the display between the library classroom and the computers. The 2009-2010 Lincoln Award books are on the spinning display case near the front desk. If you have any suggestions for books/series you'd like to see in the library, please see Ms. Bosslet.

Welcome to the LMC!

Here at the Wesner Library Media Center, it is our desire to support and extend the curriculum as well as offer materials to enable students to develop individual interests. Students, whether you’re looking for a quiet place to study for an upcoming test, need to look up something for a class, want to use the internet to research one of your interests more deeply, or simply to curl up with a good book to read, come on in.   This is a great place for you to extend your academic work, as well as pursue your personal interests and hobbies using our facilities here at the library.

Teachers, we want you to know that you will find a variety of resources here to support your classroom activities.  Staff members are always welcome to bring students in to explore what the library has to offer, or simply have a look around yourselves.  We will be glad to help you use the library to enhance whatever lessons and projects you have planned and to work with your students on their research and information literacy skills.

Below are links to our library catalog, online database subscriptions, and other helpful sources of information that can be accessed online from school or home. All databases are accessible remotely. Ask Ms. Bosslet or Mrs. Scarbeck for a password and user ID.
