To visit
the LMC during study hall, you need a library pass from one of your academic
teachers prior to your study hall period.
When that period comes, go directly to the library - do not report to
your study hall. You must arrive at the
library BEFORE the bell, present whoever is working the desk with your pass, then sign in on the attendance sheet. If you are tardy to the library, you will not
be allowed to enter. You will be sent
back to study hall where you will receive a tardy from that supervisor. All students entering the library on a pass
must also sign out at the end of the period.
This is necessary for you to be cleared by the attendance office. If you
do not sign in, it will appear that you never showed up to the library. If you sign in, but forget to sign out, it
will appear that you signed in, then immediately left the library. All students using the library during study
halls must stay there once they enter!
Students
who wish to use the LMC before school, after school, and during a lunch period
are allowed to come and go as they please.
This also goes for seniors with an option period.

in the library, please keep your voices down so other students can work in peace. Any students not in accordance with these policies can expect consequences. Students may receive a warning from Ms. Bosslet, Mrs. Scarbeck, a teacher supervisor, or a library aide. Any students persistently ignoring any of the above policies could be removed from the library and/or sent to the Dean’s office. This is an issue of respect. Please respect the space and materials, as well as the other people using them!
