Band Concert: Wednesday, March 10 Free Admission.

Solo and Ensemble 2010 is being hosted by Lake Zurich HS-Saturday, March 6. Admission is free. Events begin at 8:00AM.

The LZHS Jazz Program has just their 3rd CD. Entitled "Blowout" this the recording was done at the end of the year in studio and features the best of the best tunes from the year.

Lake Zurich Wind Ensemble is part of a consortium of schools commisioning a new piece of music from Wataru Hokoyama. The piece will be completed in December of 2009 and will be performed at our May Concert with the composer in attendance.

In Fact, One of the pieces were premiered in the US by the LZHS Wind Ensemble last year and is available on the Wind Ensemble's CD TURNING!

The Lake Zurich Wind Ensemble was recently featured on WFMT 98.7 The classical music station in Chicago. The broadcast also has recordings from the Concert Choir. The Wind Ensemble can be heard performing the 3rd Movement of Owen Reed's "La Fiesta Mexicana" and "The Sinfonians" by Clifton Williams
