LAKE ZURICH HS COMMISSION PROJECTS

Lake Zurich High School bands have recently begun commissioning composers to write works of music to add to the repertoire of excellent literature available for bands. Here is a list of works commissioned so far.

NEW PIECE: To Be Completed December 2009

Wataru Hokoyama will be composing a 7-8 minute piece for the Wind Ensemble. We are part of a consortium of schools contributing to the project and will be the only schools able to perform it next year. The project is led by Jim Kull, band director at St. Charles East High School.
