The major goal of a Student Assistance Program is to support and enhance student learning and well being through the areas of prevention, intervention and support. Because adolescents spend over one third of their waking hours in school and at school-related functions, the school has a unique opportunity to help provide solutions to students who are showing signs of escalating academic or behavior problems.
