Under the Drug Asset Forfeiture Procedure Act any person who is found with marijuana or controlled substances in their home and who is charged with illegal manufacture or intent to sell or deliver those substances, could permanently lose their home to police custody. Under Parental Responsibility laws, it is illegal for parents or guardians to knowingly allow underage consumption of alcohol at a residence. (Class A Misdemeanor). Penalties include fines of $500 to $2,500 and possible imprisonment for up to one year. Under Parental Responsibility laws, every parent or legal guardian of any minor whose residence is used (with or without parent/guardian knowledge) by any occupant under of 21 for alcohol consumption, could be presumed to have permitted the conduct. (ClassA Misdemeanor). Penalties include a fine of not less than $500. Under Parental Responsibility laws, parents and legal guardians could be liable in a civil suit for monetary damages brought against them by anyone who suffers personal injury or property loss through the actions of an intoxicated person whose intoxication is the result of that parent furnishing the alcohol or permitting the alcohol use.
It is illegal for any person to sell, give, deliver or furnish alcohol to
persons under the age of 21 (examples would include at places like a
restaurant/bar or at a store). (Class A Misdemeanor) It is illegal for any person,after purchasing or otherwise obtaining alcohol to sell, give or furnish such alcohol to persons under the age of 21. (Class A Misdemeanor) Penalties include fines of %500 to $2,500 and possible imprisonment for up to 1 year It is illegal for any hotel/motel employee to rent a room to persons under the age of 21 knowing that alcohol will be consumed there. (Class A Misdemeanor) Penalties include fines up to $2,500 and possible imprisonment for up to 1 year It is illegal for any person to rent or pay for a hotel/motel room or facility for the purpose or with the knowledge of consumption of alcohol by persons under 21 years of age. (Class A Misdemeanor) Penalties include fines up to $2,500 and possible imprisonment up to 1 year. It is illegal to obtain, possess or use an ID card or driver's license that is fraudulent or fictitious, to alter or deface any identification or to allow another person to use your identification to obtain a false ID (or for any other unlawful use). Charges range from a Class A Misdemeanor to a Class 4 Felony. Penalties include fines from $500 to $25,000, possible imprisonment for 1-3 years (and possible driver's license suspension for up to 12 months for a first offense). Driving Did You Know... It is illegal for drivers under the age of 21 to have any trace of illegal drugs or any blood alcohol content (BAC) in their system. - BAC .00-.04 "Use it & Lose It" Zero Tolerance Law 1st offense results in a 3-month loss of driving privileges (refusal to submit to testing results in a 6-month loss of driving privileges). 2nd offense results in a 1-year loss of driving privileges (refusal to submit testing results in a 2-year loss of driving privileges) - BAC .05-.07 Zero Tolerance of DUI (Officer Discretion) - BAC .08 (or above) DUI-Driving Under the Influence 1st conviction results in a minimum 2 years loss of privileges, up to a year in jail, and up to $2,500 in fines. That a DUI that results in the loss of life (Reckless Homicide DUI) is a class 2 Felony. Penalties can include a 2-year minimum loss of driving privileges, up to $25,000 fine and possible imprisonment for 3 to 14 years. It is illegal to knowingly permit a driver under the influence to operate a vehicle. (Class A Misdemeanor). Penalties can include fines up to $2500 and possible imprisonment for up to one year. It is illegal for any person of any age to transport, carry or possess any open alcoholic beverages in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. Penalties (for offenders under 21) are stricter and can include up to $1000 fine and a 1 year license suspension for a first offender (and a mandatory license revocation for a second offender). It is illegal for any person under 21 years of age to possess or transport unopened alcohol in a motor vehicle unless its in the course of that person's employment. Penalties can include 30 days of imprisonment and a $500 fine. In a limousine, it is illegal for an owner of a vehicle (or person having control over the vehicle) to knowingly permit or allow persons under 21 to be assembled in the vehicle in possession of alcohol. (Class A Misdemeanor). Penalties include fines of $500 to $2500 and possible imprisonment up to 12 months. Illegal possession of cannabis or controlled substances in a vehicle must be reported to the Secretary of State. - 1st Conviction results in a 1-year loss of driving privileges. - 2nd Conviction results in a 5-year loss of driving privileges. Under the Drug Asset Forfeiture Procedure Act, any person who is found with marijuana or controlled substances in their vehicle and who is charged with illegal sales/transportation of those substances could permanently lose their vehicle to police custody. Anywhere, Anytime... Did You Know... It is illegal for persons under 18 to possess, purchase or
misrepresent their age to purchase any Tobacco products.
Penalties include possible arrest and fines from $50 up to $250. It is illegal for any person to use, possess, or sell substances containing Nitrous Oxide with the intention for persons to breathe or inhale for the purpose of causing intoxication's. (Class B Misdemeanor). Penalties include up to 6 months in jail and fines up to $1,500. It is illegal for any person to knowingly possess an item of Drug Paraphernalia with the intent to use it in ingesting or inhaling or otherwise consuming marijuana or any controlled substances. (Class A Misdemeanor). Penalties include up to $1,500 in fines and possible imprisonment up to 30 days. It is illegal for persons under 21 to purchase, possess or consume Alcohol. (Class C Misdemeanor). Penalties include up to $1,500 in fines and possible imprisonment up to 30 days. It is illegal for any person to possess any amount of Marijuana. Charges can range from Class C Misdemeanor up to a Class 1 Felony depending on the amount possessed. Class C Misdemeanor: An amount intended for personal consumption. Penalties include up to $1,500 in fines and possible imprisonment up to 30 days. Class 1 Felony: A larger amount intended for supply to others. Penalties include $2,500 to $25,000 in fines and possible imprisonment for 4 to 15 years. It is illegal for any person to possess any Controlled Substances including narcotics, prescription drugs, and hallucinogens such as LSD or psilocybin mushrooms. (Class 1 Felony).
