WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to graduate scientifically literate students who can think and learn for themselves, work cooperatively in a team, access and use information, apply problem solving and critical thinking skills to real life challenges, and make intelligent, logical, rational decisions.

What do we offer to the LZHS student?

LZHS Science Department offers 20 science courses. Although students are required to take a minimum of two years of science (one life science, one physical science), most students take three or four years of science to prepare for college. We offer Advanced Placement courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
