MSN News Ticker Daily Announcements GET “CONNECTED” WITH MITTEN MANIA! The Connect Committee of MSN will be doing Mitten Mania once again. During the next few weeks your student will have the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child less fortunate. Paper mittens will be hanging in the main entrance area of our school. On the front of the mitten will be listed a specific item. The student takes home the mitten and brings that item back to school (unwrapped) by December 9th. Please place this item in the container located in the front office. This year the items will be donated to the “Safe Place” Holiday Store. Safe Place is a Lake County Crisis Center. The “store” is a safe environment where moms and children can shop for one another at no cost! Our goal is to get our students to step out of themselves for just a moment and think about the reality that there are kids their own age within Lake County whose Christmas is quite different than theirs. See the Connect Committee Page for more information. LZMSN PTO has received its IRS determination letter stating it is a tax-exempt public charity. Donations to the PTO are tax deductible. See the PTO website for more information including corporate matching funds programs. Spirit Wear Sale! Prices reduced for holiday gift-giving. Send in your order form today! Conference Information: Conference Information and dates are available on the Conference Information Page. You can access the page through the Parent Resource and Main office menus, as well as the link above. Conferences are on Nov. 25. The Official Welcome Back Assembly for Captain Drew Larson will be held Thursday, December 18th at 1:15, in the Seth Paine gym. He will also be honored in conjunction with the Seth Paine Chorus Concert, December 18th at 7:00 PM. Students and their families are welcome to greet him back to Lake Zurich that evening. To all parent photographers: North's yearbook, The Wolf Den, needs you! If you have any photos of your child/children involved in school activities from sports to activity nights, please submit them to janine.kierzyk@lz95.org. Who knows, maybe your photo will be in the yearbook. Order Market Day online at www.marketday.com. The CUSD 95 Boundary Study Committee has established a website to keep the community informed and aware of the process they are going through. Please visit this link for more information.
