HOMEWORK TIPS

We like to view assignments as home learning rather than homework. It is the most consistent day-to-day contact between teachers and parents. It is meant to provide additional learning opportunities to practice. Home learning teaches students responsibility. Through home learning, students learn skills they must develop if they are to grow to be independent, motivated and successful adults. Some of these important life skills are: following directions, beginning and completing a task, as well as time management. By encouraging your child to work on his or her own, you are helping to develop these important life skills.
