We believe in creating a nurturing and engaging
learning environment where students feel safe to take risks and explore
their interests.

Tell Me About Your Child:
‘In A Million Words Or Less’
Dear Parent(s),
We are asking you to do us a great big favor. We are hoping that you
will write a little something that would help us to get to know your child.
We cannot imagine that you will find it too arduous, knowing that every
parent loves to share insightful information about his or her child. We are
giving you full bragging rights to share as much as you would like.
“Why do I have to write about my child?” you ask. As middle school
teachers, we find it difficult to get to know each of our students. We want
to be able to reach out to our classes and help them learn in the best
way. Asking you, the expert on your child, to describe his/her interests,
likes, dislikes, and what ultimately makes them tick, gives us insight to
develop lesson plans and activities centered on your child’s needs and
curiosity. We want to be able to provide the most engaging learning
environment and experiences that we can.
We are not asking for pages upon pages, but a generous description of
the essential information we would need to know about your child.
We appreciate your efforts and look forward to working with you and
your child this year. Thanks a bunch!
Sincerely,
The 7th
