• The following guidelines are general and not subject specific, please refer to the individual teacher's guidelines.

• Grading

• Grades are never rounded.
• Students must have assignments in hand when they are due
• Late daily work will receive no more than 50% of earned grade if it is turned in the next day. After that, a zero may be given
• Late major projects lose 10% for every day late
• Missing names on papers. Identifying who the author is to a turned in paper takes time out of class instruction. Points will be taken off of papers without students names.

Absences

• Please inform teachers as far in advance as possible prior to leaving on vacation or personal business. Teachers may or may not have advance work for them to do.
• For every day a student is ill, they receive a two day grace period.
• For every day a student is out on vacation, they receive one day grace period.

GUTs

• Gum - Unprepared - Tardy: Any combination of three of these will result in a detention. A clean slate is given at the beginning of each quarter.

Restrooms

• Students should go during the passing period before the bell rings.
• Students will be allowed to go during class on an emergency basis ask teacher at the beginning of class.
