Newspaper will have a work day on Monday, October 6 and a Meeting day on Thursday, October 9. There will be no work day on Tuesday, October 7 due to the staff meeting. Students should be finished with interviewing and should be writing drafts of their stories for the weeks of October 13-October 24. Stories should be completed by the first week so that pages can be designed in the second week.

Howdy Adventurers!
Come join us for an afternoon of horseback riding!
We will be traveling to Chain O’ Lakes State Park’s Riding Stables for a trail ride!

When: Wednesday, October 8th, 2008
Where: Chain O’ Lakes State Park’s Riding Stables, 8916 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove
Time: The bus leaves school at 3:30. The students should plan to work on homework in the cafetorium until we leave. Students will arrive back at school about 6:30, but it may be as early as 5:30 P.M. depending on the number of participants. We will know the return time on Monday, October 6th.Pick up is at the athletic entrance on the south side of the building.
Who: Any interested 6, 7 or 8 graders are welcome to join us.
Fee: $26.00 (This includes a forty-minute trail ride and the transportation fee.

THERE IS A LIMIT ON THE NUMBERS FOR THIS TRIP. We must have a minimum of 25 and no more than 35 participants.
If we do not have at least 25 participants, the trip will be canceled and the money refunded.
Return all forms (permission slip, waiver) and money by Friday, October 3rd to the office.
