Biography:

My name is Mrs. April Bautista.  I have been married for seven years, and I have 2 sons.  They are 5½ years old and 16 months old.  I grew up in Fox River Grove and went to Illinois State University.  This was my first teaching job nine years ago.  I never expected that I would teach middle school, but I couldn’t leave once I was here.  The students provide such a unique challenge, that I couldn’t imagine teaching anywhere else.  In my “Free Time,” I am either working on Graduate level classes or spending time with my family.  I enjoy reading and spending time at the pool with my sons.
