The "Be" Choice

At Lake Zurich Middle School North we are working to help your children learn responsibility and to become positive members of our community.  To enable this many of the teachers are trying to employ methods learned from several programs including the S.T.A.R. (Successful Teaching for Acceptance of Responsibility) Program from Performance Learning Systems, Inc.

Although you may not always choose what you do in school,
you can always choose how you want to be.

Look for positive ways to do your work in school and life. Students have a responsibility to themselves that is great or greater than the teacher's responsibility to the student.
