A. Class Rules
a. RESPECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS

c. Bring all necessary materials to class everyday

B. Tardiness
a. BE ON TIME TO CLASS
b. You will receive only 2 excused tardies after that you will receive a detention.
c. You will not receive an excused tardy if you have a pass.
C. Absenteeism
a. If you know ahead of time that you will be absent please inform the teacher and you can get your assignments
b. If the absence is not planned you can see what you missed on Mrs. Anderson’s webpage.
c. Please see the teacher at the beginning of class if you
have missed any school.
d. After being absent you have two school days for every day that was missed.
D. Homework
a. Homework will be given on a daily basis.
b. It is very rare that you will be asked to spend more than 5-10 minutes on an assignment.
c. All assignments must be done on time for full credit.
1. most homework assignments are worth 5 points.
1. day late will lose 1 point (out of 5)
2. more than one day will lose 2 points (out of 5)
d. Extensions are granted only with a phone message or an email
E. Grades
a. Grades are divided into categories
b. Percentage of each category depends on the grade level
1. 8th grade:
a. Homework: 35%
b. Participation: 20%
c. Tests and quizzes (listening, speaking, and
written) 45%
2. 7th grade:
a. Homework: 30%
b. Participation 10%
c. Tests and quizzes (listening, speaking, and
written) 45%
d. Projects 10%
3. 6th grade French
a. Homework 15%
b. Participation 5%
c. Oral Tests 10%
d. Written Tests and Quizzes 45%
e. Final 25%
