Ms Foglia’s Notebook Grading Criteria

Notebooks will be graded on a quarterly basis. Notebook grades are equivalent to that of a quiz grade. Follow the procedures below to receive an A+++.

● Place your name in your notebook on the inside cover

● Date every lesson and label and label with the title and section number

● Use both sides of your page to write notes

● Write out all sample problems shown on the board or overhead for the daily lesson. (do not skip any steps and be sure to include all sketches)

● Start a new page for each lesson

● Do not write with a highlighter or markers that bleed through the paper

● Keep only math notes in your notebook and no doodling please

● You are responsible for any notes missed when returning from an absence. Find a study buddy in the class to help you catch up.
