Classroom Information

Rules:

                     1.  Have respect for yourself and others.

             2.  Be seated and ready to work when the bell rings.

             3.  Raise your hand before talking.

             4.  Conduct yourself in a manner to allow teaching and learning to take place.

Expectations:

• All homework must be completed on time or result in staying after school with me serving an academic detention (homework is posted in the classroom for absences).

• Homework, tests, and quizzes must be completed in pencil or will result in having to be redone and earn a lower grade.

• If a D or F is earned on a quiz or test I will ask that it be taken home and signed.

• Work should be shown on every problem so I can see how each student is "thinking".

• Daily notes will be taken in a spiral notebook to use as a study tool and collected often for a grade.

• All quizzes and tests should be kept for future studying tools in preparing for cumulative tests (there will be one test in December and one at the end of the school year).

Grades:

• Grades are based on daily homework, quizzes, tests, problem solving assignments, notes, and projects.

• Grades are posted every Friday by ID# in the classroom.
