Students are introduced to construction engineering, electricity and fluid power. Students research, design and construct a paper bridge that must support over 100 times its own weight. The principles of fluid power, both hydraulics and pneumatics, are applied in a series of 13 hands-on lab experiments. Students study the principles of electricity while being introduced to various electronic components and apply this knowledge to a series of 6 lab experiments using an electrical trainer.
