Curriculum: 8th Grade Social Studies

1st Quarter- Reconstruction through World War I

2nd Quarter- Roaring 20's through World War II

3rd Quarter- Geo-Political Perspective; Cold War through Present

4th Quarter- Cultural Perspective; Cold War through Present

 

Grading Policy: Quarter grades are calculated on a total point basis.  As a general rule of thumb, daily work is worth 5-10 points, projects are worth 15-30 points, and tests and quizzes range from 5 points to 50 points.
