Homework: read Chapter 18, do the job you wrote on the green sheet for Chapters 15-18, and read and fill in log (Log due Monday)

 

November 19th

5th Hour Homework:

8th Hour Homework:

-Read Chapter 14 of Tuck Everlasting

-Do next job. Between Chapters 12, 13, 14, find 3 passages to read aloud. Write the page number the passage is on, the pargraph it is in, and BRIEFLY write why this passage is important

 

November 18th

in class: read 8, 9 of Tuck Everlasting

Homework: read Chapter 10 in Tuck Everlasting, do the *Title Creator job (girls do odd number chapters, boys do even)and read and fill in log (use your Tuck... reading time for your log. Keep up with your log! )

*Title Creator: If your book has chapters that do not have titles, like Tuck Everlasting, write a title for each chapter. Be sure to choose an event that is important in the chapter. Put your chapter title in quotation marks and be sure to capitalize important words in your title. Then, briefly tell why you created that title.

In class: read Chapters 5 and 6

Homework: Read Chapter 7 and do the Sequencer job (choose 8 main events that occurred between Chapters 5-8. Write each on a note card. Number them from 1-8 on the back of the card. Tomorrow we will exchange cards and see if partners can put the events in order)

~use Chapter 7 as part of your log time
