Welcome to German at Lake Zurich Middle School North. We offer 3 different language opportunities at MSN; French, German, and Spanish.  In 6th grade, students take a quarter of all 3 languages and then have an opportunity to choose the language they take in 7th and 8th grades. During 7th and 8th grade, we cover the equivalent of level 1 language. The successful completion of a language in 7th and 8th grades will permit a student to enroll in the 2nd year language level in 9th grade.

In all German classes, we learn the language, culture, geography, and history of Germany. This is done through speaking, writing, listening, reading, and playing games!
