Curriculum

Welcome to seventh grade science! We have a very interesting curriculum, which includes topics in physical, earth and life science.  You will find a brief overview of the units we will study by clicking the curriculum link above.  Some of the skills you will be practicing this year include:  predicting outcomes, designing and carrying out experiments, measuring accurately, reporting and analyzing data, debating issues, communicating within a group, and researching a topic.  I sincerely hope that you will have an enjoyable and successful year, and I look forward to working with you.

Class Expectations

  • You will be assigned homework approximately two to three nights a week.  This will vary depending on the unit we are studying.

  • Assignments turned in late will receive no more than half credit.  (If you have a valid excuse, please talk to me and I may make an exception.)

  • Current grades will be posted each week.
