The Symphonic Band is comprised of 7th and 8th grade students.  This band regularly earns excellent ratings at contests and festivals with their outstanding performances.  All students in this band participate in solo & ensemble contest and every other year the band takes an overnight trip.  The band has traveled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to St. Louis, Missouri, and to Branson, Missouri on past trips. 

SYMPHONIC BAND 2008-2009

The Cadet Band is made up of 6th graders.  These hard working students learn the basics of playing their instruments and have a lot of fun in rehearsals.  They participate in the Northshore Band Festival held at Northwestern University every year.

CADET BAND 2008-2009

The Jazz band is open to any grade student who plays in the concert bands or who plays guitar, bass or piano.  Students earn membership in the jazz band through auditions held in the fall of every year.
