Did you ever dream of taking that wonderful vacation to a tropical place where you can kick back and relax? The Bahamas is the place for you to spend your vacation time. It is my favorite place to be and you can get away from the Winter cold. I chose this place to visit because it is a unique area and is the traditional site for vacation. Anything you imagine on your exquisite dream "aloha" vacation would be found in The Bahamas.

It is absolutely beautiful with its vibrant colors, slow, blue waves, and elegant, tall palm trees. The buildings are extravagant and deluxe. If palm trees and the billowing waves of the sea make you happy, there is no place you would enjoy more. Serenity and tranquility are the two words that describe The Bahamas because they are totally relaxing and show you the beautiful life beyond our busy Chicago cities. The Bahamas is a Caribbean island in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is southeast of Florida and northeast of Cuba. As of 2005, the population is approximately 323,000, and still climbing. The capital of the Bahamas, Nassau, is very beautiful and is located on New Providence Island, which is next to Paradise Island.
