Barbados is my dream vacation spot! Barbados has many beaches that stretch for miles. It is an eastern-Caribbean island. It has been an independent island since 1966! Barbados was a supplier for the sugar industry when slaves were allowed. Working in the cane field was a normal job for the inhabitants of the island before the people got educated. Currently, Barbados is a great island to live on. For example, there is only a 7.6% unemployment rate. The Barbadians also tend to live into the mid 70's!
Going to Barbados is a dream for me because of all its beauty! I want to walk the amazing beaches and stay in a luxurious hotel. I want to do very fun things like swim with turtles! I will be going on this dream vacation from June 1st through the 8th because I won't have to skip any school during these dates! I will be staying at the Hilton, 5 stars! My total trip price, including airfare, hotel, rental car and activities, will be $7268.82!
