Do you want to improve your school? Do you want to make your school a better living environment? Then join student council! Student Council is a great activity to join if you want to improve our learning experiences. If you are interested in joining, talk to Ms. Chimino and Mrs. Hanrahan.
Student council
The purpose of student council is to serve to community, serve this school, And to serve the students. You will be expected to attend meetings when they are scheduled. If you are unable to attend a meeting, inform Ms. Hanrahan or Ms. Chimino . You can still be involved in student council even if you are involved in a sport or extra-curricular activity!
Student council members hold a leader ship role in our school. They are South's role models demonstrating responsibility, commitment, and citizenship. We must have a way of insuring that this hold is true. Therefore, there has been a setup of rules for each student council member. They are as followed:
No student Council member may receive a three hour detention.
No student council members may receive an in school suspension.
No student council member may receive an out of school suspension.
