What are Eagle Games? Eagle games are event held at the end of the school year for all grades. It's basically a mini-Olympics held between our school. The students compete on a number of events against other teams. Each team is represented as a country that has been elected by the students in a certain class. Each team only competes against their grade level. Many students look forward to this a lot. |

Teams-What are they? Teams are usually one of your core classes. Together, as a class, you vote on a certain country that your team would like to represent. Each class/team must be a different country, but there can be repeats through different grades. Classes for teams vary yearly, but most of the time they will be: 6th Grade: Social Studies |

What should you wear? Here at MSS, we have a tradition to purchase tie die shirts, and decorate them. But sometimes, teams chose to have either pre-made solid color shirts, or pre-made tie die shirts. You will wear that on eagle games, along with shorts or comfortable pants. You also must have gym shoes to compete in any of the events. |
What Awards do we get? For each event, the place you get determines the amount of points you get. That is added to your total score. In the end, whichever team has the most points, wins first place. Then the following teams will receive second and third. Also, we have spirit award. The spirit award goes out to the team with the most overall spirit that doesn't get a place. Having spirit is cheering for your team and never letting down others! |
