¡Hola!  My name is Beth Flores, and this is my eighth year teaching at Middle School South.  I grew up in Prospect Heights, IL, and attended Indiana University.  While in college I lived in Spain for a year.  I studied in the city of Sevilla, which is located in the southern part of Spain.  Throughout my year of living in Spain, I had the opportunity to visit many countries, including the country of Morocco, in Northern Africa.  I graduated from IU in 2001 with a degree in Spanish Education.  After graduating, I spent my first year teaching high school Spanish on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Kayenta, Arizona.  Since returning home to the Chicagoland area I have taught adult ESL in district 214, and I completed my Master’s Degree at Northeastern Illinois University in Linguistics with a concentration in ESL instruction.
