Elizabeth.Buenning@lz95.org Mrs. Buenning is quite proud of her family. Her husband is a National Board Certified teacher at Fremd High School in Palatine. Her daughter is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and a graduate student at Georgetown University and is married to a U. S. Army officer. Her son is a senior at Columbia College in Chicago, and is also a writer, comedian and actor. He is in a movie still waiting for release and was recently seen in the Steppenwolf Theater production of The Diary of Anne Frank. They have an adorable Cairn terrier who makes them all laugh at her antics. When she is not reading, her other hobbies include gardening, computing, sewing and crafts. She is a member of the American Library Association, American Association of School Librarians, Young Adult Library Services Association, and the Illinois School Library Media Association. Teresa.Paul@lz95.org Although born and raised in a small town in New Jersey, Mrs. Paul has also lived in southern Illinois and in Hawaii. She graduated from Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois, with a degree in Psychology and a degree in Sociology. After graduating from college she worked as a mental health caseworker and later as Assistant Director of Admissions for Blackburn College. Mrs. Paul is also a nationally certified massage therapist. Mrs. Paul has a wonderful husband and family. Her oldest son attends the University of Missouri and is majoring in journalism and East Asian studies. Her oldest daughter is a junior at LZHS and loves music, lacrosse and golf. Her youngest daughter is a 5th grader at Charles Quentin who loves animals, sports and chess. Mrs. Paul and her children share a love of reading! A “Jersey girl” at heart, Mrs. Paul loves to spend time each summer on the beach at the Jersey shore reading a few good books and collecting seashells. She also enjoys volunteering and traveling with her family. |
