General Information
Our library media center is here to help you find the best information available for research projects, assignments, and reading just for fun. We have fifteen computers available for Internet and word processing use. Please feel free to ask us any questions you might have and we will try our best to assist you. Staff and Hours Hours: 7:30 A.M. - 3:15 P.M.
Mon-Thurs.
7:30 -2:30 on Friday Mrs. Buenning - Library Media Specialist Mrs.
Paul - Library Assistant
The library media center at our school is open all day and until 3:15 P.M. after school
Monday through Thursday. We are closed after school on Fridays. You may stay after school by coming to the library and signing in.
During school hours, you must have a signed pass unless you come to the library with your teacher. Passes need to have the time and what you need to do here. Give the pass to one of the staff members and have it signed when you are ready to return to class. The pass must always be returned to the teacher who issued the pass. Borrowing Procedures
Fiction, non-fiction, and audiobooks may be checked out for two weeks and may be renewed for two more weeks, if necessary.
Overdue notices will be distributed to reading teachers every week. Fines for overdue books are five cents per day. Once a book is returned, the fine does not increase. Back issues of magazines may be checked out. When books are overdue, a student will lose all borrowing privileges until the book is returned and the fine is paid.
All library
materials are listed on the two library search stations. You may
look up books or other sources on the computer search stations in the
library using KEYWORD, AUTHOR, TITLE, or SUBJECT. The computer
will tell you if the book is available or checked out, and where to find
it on the shelves. Back to the Top Expectations
Our goal is to provide all students and faculty members with a place to study, read, select books, and use the technology available. Therefore, we must all work together to create an appropriate learning atmosphere. Please help us to achieve this goal.
1. Please enter and exit through the middle doors of the media center. You will find the book return slot on the circulation desk just as you enter the library.
2. Put your pass on the circulation desk.
3. The Internet is available for your use if you have an Internet Permission form on file.
4. If you need to discuss an assignment with friends, keep voices low so you will not disturb others.
5. Socializing is not an acceptable reason to come to the library.
6. Chairs should remain at the tables where they have been placed.
7. Please pick up after yourself and push in your chair before you leave. Copy Machine

There is one copy machine for student use located in the library media center. Students may use the copy machine for school related assignments after asking their own teachers to approve the copying. Student copies cost 5 cents per copy. Please report any problems with the copy machines immediately so we may fix them.
School Supplies
Free book covers are always available here. The following supplies are available at the circulation desk: scissors, glue, stapler, tape, and a three hole punch. We also have old magazines and newspapers available to cut up for projects. Back to the Top Graphics from: Animation Factory
