About Mrs. Eberle

Ever since I was seven years old I knew I wanted to pursue teaching. I began with the hope to teach music but knew that my love of literature was an even better pursuit. I have been teaching at Middle School South for 12 years. I truly enjoy working with middle school students. I believe it is my calling. My undergraduate years were spent at Barat in Lake Forest. I had the opportunity to attend graduate school in Middlebury Vermont. My last semester was spent studying in Oxford. My experience with the English education system has only increased my passion as a literary critic and teacher. Middlebury was a wonderful place to attain my English master's with a concentration in Victorian Literature and a minor in film studies. In addition to my teaching duties at South I also direct the spring play.  This year I am embarking on getting my National Board Certification. It is a strenuous journey which encourages me to analyze my teaching and improve in all areas that concern the classroom. I am excited and feel it is the next step in my professional career.
