CHESS TOURNAMENT

Isaac Fox PTO is proud to host the Fourth Annual District Chess Tournament on Saturday, April 10th. This year the chess tournament is expanded to include middle school students so all students in the district in grades K - 8 are invited to participate. The tournament will be held at Middle School South in the library. More information and sign up forms (same document, 2nd page) can be found on the web-site. Please help spread the news throughout the district about this exciting event!

SCIENCE FAIR IS COMING... Last year, young scientists throughout CUSD 95 had a great time participating in the Science Fair. This fair is a celebration of science, not a competition. The goal is to foster student interest in science and for our students to have the rewarding experience of creating and presenting a project. I would like to thank all those teachers and administrators who took the time to show their appreciation of the students efforts at last year's inaugural science fair. Many of them commented to me that they were impressed at the ingenuity of our students and the wide variety of projects.
This year, we hope to be even more successful. In addition to demonstrations from the high school robotics team and the middle school north Lego team, we are excited to have a new version of last year's popular science magic show.
See the flyer, intended for our students, for our science fair. If students have any questions please contact your science teacher, Brian C. Agustin, HS Science Dept. Chair, or Jill Brooks, Isaac Fox Principal.

REMINDER FOR ALL PARENTS OF CURRENT SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS:
All 6th grade students are required to have an ORAL HEALTH DENTAL EXAMINATION by a licensed dentist.  Each child needs to present proof of exam and turn in a dental form to school by May 15, 2010.  Most students are in compliance, but there are a significant number of students who have not submitted the dental form.  Dental Forms are available in the school office or Nurse's office.  The deadline is MAY 15th. Spring Break is a good time for an appointment with your dentist if you have not turned in your form.  If you  have any questions, please contact Marie Schleich, RN, MSS school nurse.
