Some History

Starting back in 1991, the LZMS-South Campus was in the process of being built 40 miles northwest of Chicago in Lake Zurich, a town holding around 16,000 residents. We are part of Community Unit School District 95, which is composed of six grade schools, Middle School North, and one high school.

Schooling about 750 students in grades 6-8, the staff at South Campus ensures that each student receives all of his or her social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs by providing a variety of classes. This includes the basic reading, writing, math, and a set of outstanding Fine and Applied Arts classes as well.  See Pics of our school.

Most of the pages in this site were created by our own eighth grade students who chose to take the elective Publishing on the World Wide Web.
