LZMSS Magazine Drive

The Ultimate Magazine Drive!!!!

The Basics:
Every year, around the first few weeks of school, we are introduced to the magazine drive. Readers' Digest hosts it and provides the packet of forms to fill out to order the magazines. There are also prizes to give out to students when they sell a certain amount of magazines. If a student sells just one magazine they are eligible to participate in the school party.

Prizes:
The prizes depend upon on the amount of magazines you sell. The more magazines you sell, the more and better the prizes get.

The School Party:
When I was in 6th grade, the school party was a bike show. There were ramps set up outside the school and professional bikers came and did tricks on them. In 7th and 8th grade there were inflatables. The inflatables are huge slides, obstacles courses etc, that are all inflatable. These have been very successful, and all the students love them.

How to Get Started:

Watch for the informational assembly the first few weeks of school.

The Reader's Digest host will go through all the basics, prizes and how many magazines you need to sell in order to earn the prizes.

At the end of the assembly a packet will be passed out to all students with all the information you'll need.

The packet contains, all the information that is explained in the assembly( the forms to order the magazines etc.)
