Hello,
My name is Debbi Moskowitz. I am starting my 15th year as a Resource Teacher here at May Whitney. Previously, I taught junior high resource students in Skokie. Believe it or not, I have been a Resource Teacher for a total of 23 years! I graduated from Northern Illinois University with my degree in Special Education. I then obtained my master’s degree in Reading from Northeastern Illinois University.
Buffalo Grove is where I make my home. I have one son who is currently a senior at Indiana University. To keep me company, while my son is at college, is my pet cockatiel named Buddy. In my spare time I like to travel. I have been to Egypt, Israel, Alaska, and Europe. I look forward to working together with you to help your child succeed and enjoy school.

Welcome Back,
My name is Susan Fox and I am very excited to be returning to May Whitney for my
second year! It is so nice to see how much the students have grown over
the summer and to be able to continue our work together. My experience has
taught me that when a child is confident and has self-esteem they will take the
risks needed to be successful. I have a huge GOAL of allowing students to reach
their full potential both instructionally and behaviorally, and working with children on a daily basis while at the same time
collaborating with colleagues and parents allows me to do just that.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Bradley University and my Master’s from
Roosevelt University. Over the span of 20 years, I have worked in several
school districts: Waukegan, Schaumburg, Round Lake, Prairie Grove and Roselle.
I bring a lot of energy and humor to all that I do and look forward to a very
successful and exciting year at May Whitney. Please feel free to contact me at
any time via email or phone.
