Some of our second grade reading students were lucky to be able to read to a special visitor - Reese, the therapy dog!  Mrs. Kirshner, a retired teacher, brought Reese to May Whitney so our students could read some of their favorite books to her.  They read At the Beach by Rob Arego,  Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems, and There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed the Fly Guy by Ted Arnold.  Our students really enjoyed reading to their new furry friend.   It was fun to be one of Reese's Readers!
